Shane and Nigel live in Missouri City. They have always loved baking. After they won a local baking competition three years in a row, they came up with the idea to start a business out of their love. When someone wanted to buy their winning piece, they realised that they should start selling it so they could make more money.

In addition to making money through the business, they give a portion of their money to help people who need it. They also use their money to give hundreds of meals to the poor.

In an article by blackbusiness community the orientation of this 12 and 13 years old brothers was revealed.

"We like giving back because the community has given us a lot." Shane told ABC 13. Giving to Fort Bend Cares and the JB Dondolo Foundation, which is trying to rebuild a hospital in Africa, is how we spend our money.

When they aren't baking, this 12 and 13 years old brothers like to study math and science a lot too. He is in eighth grade, but Shane goes to Houston Community College and takes college-level math and engineering classes there. To help Nigel, who is in the 7th grade, learn about math, he is in a pre-calculus class. Try to use what you learn in baking.

Their first book is called "Beyond the Kitchen: How to Cook Up Success with Life's Mistakes," and it is meant to help young people like them reach their goals. It costs one dollar to buy a book. The JB Dondolo Foundation gets one dollar for every book sold.

In this book, Shane says, "It shows how you don't have to be perfect to be successful." I can fail as long as I learn from it.
